The flagship of the Group, Kappa Electricals was started in 1966 and manufactures a wide range of medium voltage instrument Transformers at its ISO 9001-certified production units in Chennai. Our fiftieth year commenced with the establishment of our new factory in Vallam Vadagal, near Chennai. Set in two acres, the unit manufactures instrument transformers, as well as control , auto and lighting transformers. Our earlier factories in Guindy and Pallikaranai in Chennai have been consolidated and relocated to Vallam Vadagal, and new capacity added.
Our headquarters are in Chennai, South India. Our global and India markets are served from here.

Kappa started exports in 1970, one of the earliest Indian companies to do so. Since 1979, group exports are routed through our trading arm, Kappa Exports, which also sources and exports a diverse range of electrical items and panel accessories, It is now a recognized Export House.
The CSR wing of the Group focuses on community development by addressing the needs of the physically impaired and the underprivileged. We have adopted a village in Andhra ,and conduct charitable work there including health camps. The trust also undertakes extensive disaster relief work.
